Analisis Kebutuhan Sprinkler pada Gedung Keselamatan Penerbangan Politeknik Penerbangan Indonesia Curug Sebagai Upaya Proteksi Kebakaran

Gedung Keselamatan Penerbangan Politeknik Penerbangan Indonesia Curug merupakan bangunan pendidikan bertingkat yang memiliki potensi risiko kebakaran akibat tingginya aktivitas, penggunaan peralatan elektronik, serta material mudah terbakar. Berdasarkan hasil observasi, gedung belum dilengkapi dengan sistem sprinkler sebagai bagian dari sistem proteksi kebakaran aktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kondisi sistem proteksi kebakaran yang tersedia serta menganalisis kebutuhan sprinkler berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri Pekerjaan Umum Nomor 26/PRT/M/2008. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem proteksi kebakaran pada gedung masih belum memadai karena hanya tersedia APAR, APAB, dan fire alarm, sedangkan sprinkler dan hydrant belum tersedia. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, gedung memerlukan pemasangan sprinkler sebanyak 376 titik, yang terdiri atas 130 titik di lantai basement, 153 titik di lantai satu, dan 93 titik di lantai dua. Pemasangan sistem sprinkler diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efektivitas proteksi kebakaran serta keselamatan penghuni gedung.
