Pentingnya Pendidikan Anti Korupsi Bagi Mahasiswa

Abstract

Korupsi adalah penyelewengan atau penyalahgunaan uang negara (perusahaan dan sebagainya) untuk keuntungan pribadi atau orang lain. Misalnya, seorang pejabat atau seorang pemegang kepercayaan yang secara bertentangan dengan hukum, secara keliru menggunakan kekuasaannya untuk mendapatkan keuntungan untuk dirinya sendiri atau untuk orang lain, bertentangan dengan tugas dan hak orang lain. Oleh sebab itu peran mahasiswa sedikit banyak dibutuhkan dalam pemberantasan korupsi. Karena mereka merupakan kaum intelektual yang mempunyai tanggung jawab untuk mencerdaskan masyarakat dan menerobos kebiasaan buruk yang berkembang di dalam masyarakat. Mahasiswa merupakan “Agen Of Change” dan “Power Of Control” dimana harapan yang besar pada mahasiswa dapat menangani tindakan korupsi.
