Dampak Peredaran Thrift Impor terhadap Industri Fashion Lokal di Yogyakarta

Fenomena perdagangan global telah mendorong masuknya berbagai produk dari luar negeri ke Indonesia, termasuk pakaian bekas impor yang dikenal dengan istilah thrift impor. Dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, bisnis thrift impor berkembang cukup pesat di berbagai kota besar, termasuk Yogyakarta yang dikenal sebagai kota pelajar dengan jumlah mahasiswa yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis fenomena berkembangnya thrift impor serta dampaknya terhadap daya saing industri fashion lokal di Yogyakarta. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi literatur yang diperoleh dari berbagai sumber seperti jurnal ilmiah, buku, dan laporan terkait perdagangan internasional. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa thrift impor memiliki daya tarik bagi masyarakat karena harga yang lebih terjangkau dan variasi model yang beragam. Namun, di sisi lain keberadaan thrift impor juga berpotensi menimbulkan persaingan yang tidak seimbang bagi pelaku usaha fashion lokal. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pengawasan serta kebijakan yang tepat agar perkembangan industri fashion lokal tetap terjaga di tengah arus perdagangan global.
