Kepemimpinan Berbasis Compassion Sebagai Pendekatan Penguatan Mutu Pendidikan Buddhis

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis penerapan kepemimpinan berbasis Compassion (welas asih) sebagai pendekatan strategis dalam penguatan mutu pendidikan Buddhis. Kepemimpinan berbasis Compassion dipahami sebagai praktik kepemimpinan yang mengintegrasikan mindfulness, empati, komunikasi tanpa penghakiman, dan nilai-nilai Brahmavihara seperti Metta, Karuna, Mudita, dan Upekkha dalam pengelolaan lembaga pendidikan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR) mengikuti alur PRISMA, dengan menelusuri artikel pada Google Scholar, Scopus, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, dan ERIC. Dari 312 artikel yang teridentifikasi, 38 artikel memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan dianalisis secara tematik serta disintesis secara naratif. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan berbasis Compassion diwujudkan melalui keteladanan moral, mendengarkan aktif, dan pengambilan keputusan berorientasi kesejahteraan bersama; nilai Brahmavihara berperan membangun budaya sekolah yang inklusif dan suportif; serta kepemimpinan Compassion berkontribusi pada keterlibatan akademik, kesejahteraan emosional, dan pembentukan karakter moral peserta didik. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada perumusan model konseptual yang mengintegrasikan dimensi akademik, emosional, moral, dan spiritual Buddhis sebagai kerangka mutu pendidikan yang lebih utuh dibandingkan pendekatan mutu berbasis capaian akademik semata. Temuan ini memberikan landasan konseptual bagi pengembangan kebijakan dan praktik kepemimpinan pendidikan Buddhis yang kontekstual di tengah tuntutan pendidikan modern.
