Generasi muda mungkin lebih tertarik pada tren global daripada menjaga warisan budaya lokal.Bukan hanya budaya lokal globalisasi juga memiliki dampak yang siginifikan terhadap bahasa daerah.Dikarenakan bahasa global, seperti bahasa Inggris, semakin dominan dalam komunikasi internasional, media, pendidikan, dan bisnis. Akibatnya, banyak bahasa daerah mulai ditinggalkan, terutama oleh generasi muda yang lebih memilih menggunakan bahasa yang dianggap lebih “modern” atau “bergengsi.”Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan google form sebagai platform untuk pengumpulan data beserta menganalisis secara dasar.Kuesioner terdiri dari 15 pertanyaan yang mengukur variabel pengaruh globalisasi terhadap bahasa daerah.Dari hasil penelitian semua responden menyadari dan masih memperdulikan kelestarian bahasa daerah mereka masing masing .Mereka sadar bahwasannya kita bisa mengambil sisi positif dari globalisasi ini.
