Penguatan Identitas Pendidik dalam Mencegah Kasus Pelecehan Seksual Terhadap Peserta Didik

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran identitas pendidik dalam mencegah pelecehan seksual terhadap peserta didik di lingkungan satuan pendidikan. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari meningkatnya kasus kekerasan seksual di sekolah yang sebagian besar melibatkan pendidik sebagai pelaku. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif-eksploratif melalui studi literatur dan wawancara mendalam dengan tenaga pendidik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa identitas pendidik memiliki kontribusi fundamental dalam pencegahan pelecehan seksual, terutama melalui empat faktor utama: kompetensi profesional, dukungan institusional, pengembangan profesional berkelanjutan, dan lingkungan kerja yang kolaboratif. Penelitian juga menemukan sejumlah tantangan, seperti keterbatasan pengetahuan, stigma budaya, serta beban kerja pendidik yang berlebihan. Strategi pencegahan yang efektif meliputi pelatihan komprehensif, sistem deteksi dini, supervisi dan mentoring, serta kolaborasi dengan orang tua, masyarakat, dan pemangku kepentingan lainnya. Dengan demikian, penguatan identitas pendidik sebagai pelindung dan agen perubahan sosial menjadi langkah strategis dalam menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang aman, kondusif, dan bebas dari kekerasan seksual.
