Kontribusi Tes Pengukuran Terhadap Peningkatan Prestasi Lari Melalui Evaluasi Kemampuan Fisik Atlet

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kontribusi tes pengukuran terhadap peningkatan prestasi lari melalui evaluasi kemampuan fisik atlet. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif korelasional, dengan subjek penelitian atlet lari yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes kemampuan fisik yang meliputi daya tahan, kecepatan, kekuatan, dan kelincahan, serta data prestasi lari atlet. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes lapangan dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan statistik korelasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara hasil tes pengukuran dengan peningkatan prestasi lari, di mana komponen kecepatan dan daya tahan menjadi faktor dominan dalam menentukan performa atlet. Selain itu, pelaksanaan tes secara berkala terbukti membantu pelatih dalam memantau perkembangan atlet serta menyusun program latihan yang lebih efektif dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan individu.
