Pengaruh Penerapan Media Video Tutorial Terhadap Hasil Praktik Dasar Kecantikan Siswa Kelas X Tata Kecantikan di SMK Negeri 3 Pematangsiantar

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil praktik Dasar Kecantikan siswa kelas X Tata Kecantikan di SMK Negeri 3 Pematangsiantar yang belum maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil praktik rias wajah pagi dan siang hari menggunakan media video tutorial dan PowerPoint, serta untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media video tutorial terhadap hasil praktik siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan video tutorial dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan PowerPoint, masing-masing berjumlah 30 siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar observasi berdasarkan indikator keterampilan dan dianalisis menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelas eksperimen memperoleh kategori tinggi sebesar 56,67%, sedangkan kelas kontrol sebesar 40,00% termasuk kategori kurang. Nilai thitung 32,15 lebih besar dari ttabel 1,67 pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Disimpulkan bahwa video tutorial berpengaruh signifikan dan lebih efektif meningkatkan hasil praktik siswa.
