Pengaruh Latihan Small-Sided Games terhadap Peningkatan Daya Tahan dan Teknik Dasar Sepak Bola

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode latihan Small-Sided Games terhadap peningkatan daya tahan dan teknik dasar sepak bola pada mahasiswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest–posttest design. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 8 mahasiswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran sepak bola dan dibagi menjadi dua kelompok permainan dalam pelaksanaan latihan Small-Sided Games. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan meliputi tes daya tahan (bleep test) dan tes keterampilan teknik dasar sepak bola (passing, dribbling, dan shooting) untuk mengukur kemampuan mahasiswa sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan. Prosedur penelitian diawali dengan pelaksanaan pretest, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pemberian perlakuan berupa latihan Small-Sided Games selama beberapa kali pertemuan, dan diakhiri dengan posttest. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan uji t untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan daya tahan dan teknik dasar sepak bola setelah diberikan latihan Small-Sided Games. Nilai rata-rata daya tahan dan keterampilan teknik dasar mahasiswa mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan setelah perlakuan. Dengan demikian, metode latihan Small-Sided Games memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan daya tahan dan teknik dasar sepak bola pada mahasiswa.
