Hubungan Antara Pendidikan, Peran Sosial, dan Persepsi Gender Terhadap Partisipasi Perempuan Dalam Industri Boga

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara tingkat pendidikan, peran sosial, dan persepsi gender terhadap partisipasi perempuan dalam industri boga. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Populasi penelitian adalah perempuan yang bekerja di sektor industri boga di Kota Medan dan sekitarnya, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 60 responden yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner berskala Likert 1–5 yang digunakan untuk mengukur variabel pendidikan, peran sosial dan persepsi gender, serta partisipasi perempuan. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman karena data tidak berdistribusi normal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel pendidikan memiliki hubungan positif dan signifikan dengan partisipasi perempuan (r = 0,268; sig. = 0,038 < 0,05). Sementara itu, variabel peran sosial dan persepsi gender tidak menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan (sig. > 0,05). Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pendidikan merupakan faktor penting yang mendorong keterlibatan perempuan dalam sektor industri boga. Hasil penelitian ini sejalan dengan penelitian Lusiyanti & Wicaksono (2020), Pertiwi et al. (2021), serta Zahra et al. (2022) yang menyoroti pentingnya pendidikan dan pemberdayaan perempuan dalam meningkatkan partisipasi tenaga kerja di sektor kuliner.
