Abstract

Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk memberikan manfaat religius terhadap toleransi dan diharapkan dapat meningkatkan rasa toleransi di masyarakat, pendidikan, dan antar umat beragama, serta dapat menumbuhkan cinta sesama dan meningkatkan sikap religius. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti adalah penelitian hukum yuridis normatif. Penelitian hukum yuridis normatif merupakan metode penelitian hukum yang dilakukan dengan melakukan penelitian yang bersumber dari bahan pustaka atau bahan sekunder. Penelitiaan hukum normatif adalah suatu prosedur penelitian ilmiah untuk menemukan kebenaran berdasarkan logika keilmuan hukum dari sisi normatifnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tumbuhnya sikap toleransi menjadi simbol yang sangat kuat untuk mencerminkan masyarakat yang pluralistik, dan menjadikan pluralism mengakar dalam diri mereka. Penumbuhan sikap toleransi dalam masyarakat umumnya dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai cara. Hal ini dapat dilakukan baik lewat sarana formal maupun informal.
