Pengaruh Nomophobia Terhadap Perilaku Komunikasi Interpersonal Siswa Kelas XI SMAN 14 Bandar Lampung

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena nomophobia yang semakin marak terjadi di kalangan remaja, khususnya siswa SMA, sebagai dampak dari pesatnya perkembangan teknologi digital. Ketergantungan berlebihan pada ponsel telah menggeser pola interaksi sosial siswa dari komunikasi tatap muka ke komunikasi virtual, yang berpotensi menghambat kualitas komunikasi interpersonal di lingkungan sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur pengaruh nomophobia terhadap perilaku komunikasi interpersonal siswa kelas XI SMAN 14 Bandar Lampung. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain survei. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 190 siswa yang ditentukan menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan teknik proportionate stratified random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner dengan skala Likert yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linear sederhana dengan bantuan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh negatif dan signifikan antara nomophobia terhadap perilaku komunikasi interpersonal siswa (t = -4,532; p = 0,000). Persamaan regresi Y = 85,342 - 0,189X menunjukkan bahwa setiap peningkatan satu unit nomophobia menurunkan komunikasi interpersonal sebesar 0,189 unit. Koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 64,0% mengindikasikan bahwa nomophobia memberikan kontribusi yang sangat besar terhadap komunikasi interpersonal, sementara 36,0% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya kebijakan pembatasan penggunaan ponsel di sekolah serta program edukasi tentang dampak negatif nomophobia melalui layanan Bimbingan Konseling. Penelitian lanjutan disarankan untuk menambahkan variabel mediasi seperti kontrol diri atau regulasi emosi serta memperluas cakupan penelitian ke beberapa sekolah dengan karakteristik berbeda.
