Analisis Efektivitas Quillbot Sebagai Solusi Pencegahan Plagiarisme Dalam Penulisan Akademik Mahasiswa (Studi Kasus di FBS UNIMED)

Penulisan akademik merupakan kompetensi penting di perguruan tinggi yang menuntut integritas dan kemampuan parafrase untuk menghindari plagiarisme. QuillBot, sebagai alat bantu penulisan berbasis Artificial Intelligence, banyak digunakan mahasiswa untuk meningkatkan kualitas tulisan dan mencegah plagiarisme, namun menimbulkan kekhawatiran terkait ketergantungan yang dapat menghambat kemampuan menulis mandiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengetahuan mahasiswa Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni Universitas Negeri Medan (FBS UNIMED) tentang QuillBot, menilai efektivitas penggunaannya dalam mencegah plagiarisme, mengidentifikasi fitur yang paling sering dipakai, posisi QuillBot dalam proses penulisan akademik, serta sikap rekomendasi mahasiswa terhadap alat ini. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur dengan 11 informan dan studi literatur dari sumber relevan selama lima tahun terakhir. Hasil penelitian diharapkan memberikan gambaran komprehensif mengenai peran dan dampak QuillBot dalam penulisan akademik mahasiswa FBS UNIMED.
