AbstractEra modern memunculkan tantangan moral dan sosial akibat globalisasi dan kemajuan teknologi yang mendorong sikap individualistis. Ajaran Buddha menekankan keseimbangan antara paññā dan karuṇā sebagai landasan tanggung jawab sosial umat Buddhis. Melalui studi literatur, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tanggung jawab sosial bukan sekadar filantropi, tetapi perwujudan praktik Dhamma yang memadukan nilai moral, kebijaksanaan, dan tindakan sosial. Dalam pendidikan, nilai-nilai etika, disiplin, dan empati membentuk karakter sosial yang penuh kasih. Pada bidang kesejahteraan, prinsip dāna, mettā, dan karuṇā tampak melalui kegiatan kemanusiaan dan pemberdayaan. Sinergi keduanya menghasilkan model tanggung jawab sosial Buddhis yang berkelanjutan dan relevan bagi masyarakat modern.
