Strategi Penegakan Hukum dan Disiplin Prajurit TNI AD dalam Operasi Pengamanan Perbatasan Papua – PNG Guna Mewujudkan Prajurit Profesional

Penegakan hukum dan disiplin prajurit TNI AD dalam operasi pengamanan perbatasan Papua–PNG merupakan aspek penting untuk menjamin keberhasilan tugas dan menjaga profesionalisme prajurit di wilayah dengan kompleksitas ancaman tinggi, mulai dari aktivitas kelompok separatis bersenjata hingga dinamika sosial masyarakat perbatasan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis strategi penegakan hukum dan disiplin prajurit TNI AD dalam operasi Pamtas Papua–PNG serta mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung, hambatan, dan langkah optimalisasi guna memperkuat profesionalisme prajurit. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi dokumen, wawancara mendalam, dan observasi lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penegakan hukum dan disiplin telah dilaksanakan melalui mekanisme komando, pengawasan melekat, dan penerapan hukum militer, namun masih terdapat kendala berupa keterbatasan sarana pembinaan hukum, ketimpangan pemahaman aturan, tekanan situasional, serta kondisi geografis dan infrastruktur komunikasi yang terbatas. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan peningkatan kapasitas pembinaan hukum, penguatan pengawasan, penyempurnaan mekanisme operasional, dan adaptasi doktrin.
