Strategi Kesiapan Kontingen Formed Police Unit Indonesia dalam Menangani Konflik di Sudan: Studi Kasus Misi UNAMID (United Nations Missions in Darfur)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah strategi mengoptimalkan Kontingen FPU Indonesia dalam rangka menangani konflik di Darfur guna mendukung tugas Operasi Perdamaian Dunia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, fokus pada kemampuan SDM dan dukungan alat peralatan untuk mengoptimalkan Kontingen FPU Indonesia. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan unsur Divhubinter Polri, Satgas Garbha II FPU UNAMID dan tinjauan literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan SDM FPU Indonesia, khususnya dalam aspek penguasaan bahasa asing, kemampuan teknis dan taktis, serta ketahanan fisik dan mental, masih memerlukan peningkatan untuk menghadapi kompleksitas konflik di Darfur. Selain itu, Dukungan materiil/alat peralatan kontingen FPU Indonesia, meskipun secara umum telah memenuhi standar minimum PBB, belum sepenuhnya memadai untuk menghadapi ancaman kontemporer. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa strategi optimalisasi FPU Indonesia menekankan pentingnya pendekatan komprehensif yang mencakup penguatan SDM, modernisasi peralatan, dan penguatan tata kelola operasional.
